- You\xe2\x80\x99ll have the opportunity to learn everything from scratch \xe2\x80\x93 this role will be at a brand-new chemical manufacturing plant that is currently being built.
- Work for a global specialty chemical manufacturer that has a bountiful number of opportunities to grow, both in Houston as well as at their other US facilities.
This opportunity is with a global specialty chemical manufacturer that is starting up a greenfield site in the Pasadena area. This new plant will be manufacturing specialty chemicals in batches that will be used in all sorts of industries such as consumer products, industrial materials, and agriculture. This is a role that while have you in the field, interacting with multiple teams on site. You\xe2\x80\x99ll own the PSM program while being the gatekeeper for any MOC\xe2\x80\x99s as the site is being developed all the way until operational launch. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be involved with and facilitating PHA\xe2\x80\x99s and HAZOPS (these will be revalidated every 3 years), ensuring that the site is compliant with all safety regulations. Once production starts and the facility is running, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be assisting with day-to-day risk evaluations, root-cause analysis, & overall hazards.
Minimum Requirements:
- B.S. Chemical Engineering
- 5+ years experience in chemical manufacturing
- Process Safety Management (PSM) background is required
- Previous experience with HAZOPS, incident investigation, root cause analysis, RMP, OSHA, NFPA
