job summary:
Industry-leading manufacturer in a position of growth seeks a Plant Electrical Engineer to assist with industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and industrial automation efforts. You should have experience from a industrial or manufacturing environment. You should either be able to troubleshoot, modify, and program PLCs (Allen-Bradley) or robotics (Fanuc), or the desire to learn (this is a unique learning opportunity!). responsibilities:

• Conduct failure analysis and troubleshoot electrical problems

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs

• Work with other engineers and technicians to improve the efficiency and reliability of electrical systems

• Program, modify, and troubleshoot industrial automation equipment (PLCs, robotics, etc)

• Design automation systems as needed

requirements:

• BS Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or BSEET preferred

• 3+ yrs related experience in a heavy industrial (metals, paper, chemical) or heavy manufacturing (automotive, appliance, etc) envrionment

• Experience with industrial automation

• PLC and robotic programming experience, or the desire to learn
