Job Overview

We're looking for an experienced Pizza Maker to join our small, family owned restaurant. The position is part-time, 20 hours per week. In this role, you will make delicious pizzas from scratch that delight our guests. You'll be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking pizzas to perfection, and ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and taste.

What you'll do

Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas and other menu items using fresh ingredients and traditional techniques. Collaborate with the team to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety standards Handle food items with care, ensuring proper storage and handling procedures are followed Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management Provide exceptional service by presenting dishes beautifully and engaging with guests when necessary

Basic qualifications

Experience in the food industry, particularly in pizza preparation is required. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

Preferred qualifications

Previous experience in Italian restaurant. Previous experience in a small restaurant environment. Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
