Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Pizza Maker to join our team. As Pizza Maker, you will be responsible for maintaining kitchen stations and staff, ensuring standards of quality, facilitating kitchen throughput.

This position reports directly to the owner and will include elements of menu development. Creativity, innovation and thinking outside the box are expected and encouraged.

Duties:

- Lead the team on preparing and maintaining the food station

-Maintain oversight of the station to ensure proper fulfillment of orders and peak efficiency
- Prepare ingredients for service including chopping, mixing, organizing and labeling
- Prepare food to order for customers, including sandwiches, salads, breakfast items and pizza
- Ensure all orders are fulfilled in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including food preparation stations and cooking equipment

- Prepare doughs for baking sandwich bread, pizza, pastries and more
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Assist in the preparation of other menu items as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing concerns

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Lead Prep Cook, Pizza Cook, Lead Line Cook, Lead Baker, or in a similar role is required

- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Ability to take initiative and make decisions based on provided instructions
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Familiarity with operating a Toast POS system is a plus
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating portion sizes
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
