South Sound Radiology (SSR) is looking for a Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) to join our team. We are an Outpatient Imaging Center, open Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday, located in Olympia, Washington. SSR is a part of Radia, Inc. Position Summary:
Performs a variety of clerical functions that support the overall Imaging Center
- Ability to provide excellent phone service, to a high volume of callers
- Accurately enters incoming orders in a timely manner
- Ensures the accuracy of patient demographic, insurance information and known pre-authorization numbers
- Provides accurate cost-estimates and has the knowledge to respond to patient questions regarding routine billing and insurance matters
- Accurately schedules appointments following provided guidelines
- Ability to meet or exceed scheduling center performance metrics, with a focus on quality, accuracy, and timeliness
- Ability to de-escalate conflict situations with minimal supervisory assistance but able to recognize when a situation is beyond individual training/expertise and requires assistance
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to successfully perform all PSR I functions, to include front desk reception duties and all modality scheduling
- Minimum of 1 year of radiology medical office experience
- Knowledge of medical insurance
- Must be very proficient in computer skills, multi-tasking and working with several software programs at the same time
- Demonstrates a professional demeanor in appearance and behavior in all work-related interactions
