About us

Dr Engstrom and Associates is a small business in Fargo, ND. We are professional, upbeat and our goal is to provide eye exams for patients of all ages. We are a 2 doctor practice and have been in business for 20+ years. We are a busy practice incorporating modern technology.

Perform preliminary screening tests to facilitate diagnosis and treatment by the provider. This position requires initiative, flexibility, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Other duties include: welcoming patients, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, collecting insurance information, and patient payments.

Clinic hours M-F 8:30-5 Saturday 8:30-3

*Closed Sundays and all major holidays.

Must be available Saturdays, holiday breaks, and summer.

Experience:
- Previous experience as an optometric technician or in a related role preferred
- Familiarity with electronic health records system is a plus
- Strong customer service skills
- Understanding of maintaining a clean and safe environment

As an Optometric Technician, you will play a vital role in providing excellent patient care and supporting the optometrist in delivering comprehensive eye exams. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including pediatric patients. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.67 - $18.46 per hour
