HomeTroniX is hiring a Sales Consultant to grow relationships within the custom home, interior design, architecture, and development communities. This is a design-driven, relationship-based outside sales role, focused on architectural lighting, motorized window treatments, and aesthetically integrated smart home solutions.
This position is ideal for a design-minded sales professional who values autonomy, professionalism, and accountability--and who enjoys being out in the field building meaningful partnerships.

Has experience in outside sales, consulting, or relationship-based business development
Comes from (or works closely with) interior design, architecture, construction, or luxury services
Understands aesthetics, presentation, and professional collaboration
Wants independence in their day-to-day work--paired with clear expectations and structure
Is confident working with builders, designers, and decision-makers
Job Duties:
Developing and maintaining relationships with builders, interior designers, architects, and developers
Generating new leads through networking, referrals, site visits, and industry events
Presenting lighting, shading, and smart home solutions that align with design intent
Collaborating with internal project management and technical teams
Managing your sales pipeline with clear documentation and follow-up
Establishing/Representing HomeTroniX as a design-aligned technology partner going beyond a transactional vendor relationship.
Work Structure & Expectations:
This is a full-time role without a dedicated office or design studio at this time
You'll have significant autonomy in how you structure your days and pursue opportunities
All proposals must be reviewed and approved by our project management team prior to being sent to clients
Sales pipeline tracking and daily time tracking are required
Communication, follow-through, and accountability are evaluated consistently to ensure alignment and success

Qualifications
3+ years of experience in outside sales, business development, or consultative sales
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
High level of organization and professionalism
Comfortable learning technical systems (AV experience not required but a bonus; training provided)
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally
Compensation & Benefits
$30k-$100k annual earning potential
