The Material Planner team ensures row material availability to support the production plan in all sites with minimum stock levels

As a Material Planner, you will support the production plan with material, including new product implementation (NPI), and work with various teams in SolarEdge operation division (Engineering, Logistics, Purchasing...)

What you will be doing:

  • Schedule the supply of materials to meet production requirements with minimum stock levels
  • Day-to-day PR/PO management including expediting Pos and push-out when needed
  • Take actions in relation to material shortages that affect production
  • Follow up on shipments to make sure items deliver on time
  • Minimize obsolete stock and follow up on DEVs
  • Analyze ECOs and make sure implementation occurs
  • Approve MRP for strategic items and NPI
  • Monitor the FC and execution,
  • Work closely with multiple departments in the organization \xe2\x80\x93 Supervise the contractor (Flex) and communicate to HQ,
  • Consistently seeking new opportunities to improve processes

Requirements:
  • BSC in Industrial Engineering Management- university preferred
  • Experience of 4+ years as a Planner at a multidisciplinary company
  • Excellent fluent English-Read/Writing and Speaking
  • Excellent knowledge in MS-office, Excel as a priority
  • Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced business environment
  • Creative, be able to provide out-of-the-box solutions
  • Experience with Agile system and ERP systems, Priority and Oracle preferred
  • Fast learner, Independent, and autodidact
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing process
  • Capable of working under stress and setting up priority for all open tasks
  • A team player
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Energetic positive, someone able to be talking to people all the time,
  • Supporting the implementation of advance planning in the company
  • Working with logistics and distribution team.
  • Time availability \xe2\x80\x93 responsive 24/7 willing to work on weekends as needed
FAIR PAY & A JUST WORKPLACE

At SolarEdge, we are committed to fair, transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation. The pay range for this position \xef\xbb\xbfin Texas at the start of employment is expected to be between $60K - $85K. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall near the middle of this range. However, base pay offered is based on market location and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.

Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at SolarEdge. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
