We are seeking a motivated, collaborative, and customer-centric Marketing Manager to be responsible for the development and execution of regional marketing strategy, promotion and communication tactics and to provide field marketing support for the entire AgroFresh portfolio in the United States and Canada.

Responsibilities Include for the North America Region (USA/Canada):
Marketing Execution/Communications/Media

  • Lead the execution of regional brand plans, collaborating with global strategic marketing (GSM), technical and sales teams to translate global strategy and value proposition into strong tactical execution plans to drive market share gain for in-line brands. (full portfolio, across crops)
  • Product Launch Execution - collaborate with Commercial (Sales), Global Strategic Marketing, Market Research and R&D colleagues to successfully launch new products ensuring field force is equipped with key product messages, technical training and sales tools (digital and print).
  • Leverage external agencies and vendors to produce marketing communications, advertising (digital and print) media plan, press releases and customer facing sales collateral, e-blasts, lead generation campaigns, and videos to support sales team.
  • Work with global market research to analyze regional market dynamics, trends. Execute customer surveys and insights that drive tactics development.
  • Regional lead for activation of internal and external communications for region
  • Lead relationship with key trade media sales contacts and editors in region
  • Work with commercial director to deliver tactical pricing and/or deal pricing support for in-line brands, marketing offer deal tracking, customer loyalty program, KPIs.
Digital, CRM & Social Media Marketing:
  • Responsible for region specific social content development in line with the overarching global social media strategy.
  • Drive and lead Marketing Automation efforts for the region for all types of campaigns including lead generation, nurturing, informative, up-sell, cross-sell, etc.
Event, Tradeshow & Industry Association Management:
  • Project lead for designated trade shows, local sponsorships, responsible for all aspects of successful show activation, including on-site booth coordination, materials delivery, customer event planning, booth design and activation to drive traffic to the booth, capture leads and measure ROI of tradeshow participation.
  • Own and lead the relationship with all regional trade/crop association memberships/activations, coordinating all AgroFresh promotion opportunities at local Industry and AgTech forums.
  • Maintain customer event/tradeshow meeting calendar.
Operations
  • Maintain regional digital asset library, including photos, sales collateral, tradeshow materials, customer gifts inventory
  • Skillfully develop, manage and deploy the regional marketing budget throughout the year, managing invoice and expense management with external vendors.
Position Specifications
  • 5+ years of marketing management experience for products and/or services
  • B2B Marketing experience in Agriculture, Life Sciences, CPG, or Food or AgTech
  • Demonstrated success in the ability to multi-task, handle tight deadlines and quick turnarounds
  • Direct experience with:
    • Developing strategic marketing plans with 1 to 3 Year outlook, setting KPIs, and executing marketing tactics across a number of brands.
    • Creating, equipping, and collaborating with sales teams with sales and training materials
    • Large scale meeting and tradeshow management and execution
    • Managing the creative development and implementation of advertising, sales materials
    • Leading external agencies and vendor negotiations;
    • Digital & email marketing, website and social media experience
    • Experience with one or more of the following: (MailChimp, HubSpot, SalesForce.com, Canva, Social Media, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Sprout Social, Survey Monkey)
  • Market Research, Data Analytics, Communications, Media planning/buying experience a plus
  • Bilingual English and Spanish helpful
