Join our dynamic team at Kisco Senior Living as the Marketing Manager and take the lead in driving our marketing initiatives to new heights. In this role, you\'ll be responsible for overseeing and developing direct marketing strategies and branded materials across our existing 22 communities and one in progress. Your mission? To elevate our sales lead generation efforts to new levels of success.

Your primary focus will be on managing all aspects of luxury marketing for Kisco Signature Communities. This includes collaborating with our Home Office Marketing team for graphic design, copywriting, website enhancements, eblasts, promotional materials, public relations coordination, and, when needed, overseeing our Advertising agency.

But that\'s not all. You\'ll work closely with our creative manager to craft compelling copy for a wide range of marketing channels, from advertising to direct mail, website content, digital marketing, and collateral materials. This collaboration ensures that our messaging is in perfect harmony with Kisco Senior Living\'s branding standards.

Your ultimate goal? To meticulously plan and execute marketing campaigns that supercharge leads resulting from community-specific marketing efforts, all while keeping a close eye on Return on Investment (ROI) and managing our budget wisely.

**This role is based in Raleigh, NC or Washington DC. Must live in one of these locations and requires frequent travel to our Signature communities.**

What will I do every day?

  • Work with creative manager to develop concepts and copy for direct marketing campaigns (both digital and print), advertisements, and direct mail that is in line with Kisco prospect profiles and KSL branding.
  • Research and book advertising for communities based on budgets, community preferences, and review the success of campaigns through lead and move-in tracking data.
  • Conduct quarterly planning calls and stay apprised of marketing budgets, costs to date, and community event plans for all KSL communities.
  • Coordinate with each RVP and their KSL communities to ensure comprehensive campaign schedule is supported by onsite associates, outreach, and any referral activities to ensure best participation.
  • Serve as day-to-day contact for Agencies (Ad and/or PR), responsible for review of press releases and advertorials to ensure accurate brand representation.
  • Analyze and summarize community resident and prospect data to provide detailed information to outside agencies for targeted direct mail list generation.
  • Procure and manage the sorting and saving of purchased list for use by printers.
  • Design and coordinate e-blasts, including working with each community on optimal scheduling and targeted lists; analyze open rates and CTRs to set best practices and increase engagement.
  • Participate in team strategy sessions to better understand our customers and create materials that meet existing and future lead generation requirements. This includes brand concepting for new KSL communities.
  • Contribute insights to the Vice President of Marketing and Revenue Management for ongoing enhancements to the marketing processes, encompassing novel technologies, initiatives, and approaches to marketing.
  • Serves as marketing department\xe2\x80\x99s liaison with KDC Development for the marketing needs of development projects including acquisitions, expansions, and new community builds.
  • Use company software (Avid and Agiloft) to manage marketing invoices including review, coding, and approvals in addition to remaining knowledgeable on process for contract submittal.
  • Excel at knowing Canva\xe2\x80\x99s capabilities on order to execute training, creation of and publishing of templates in addition to overall account management.
  • Establish logins and trouble shoot access issues for Curtis 1000 print portal and Canva for all users.
  • Know and understand Kisco\xe2\x80\x99s Principles, Values, and Beliefs (PVB\xe2\x80\x99s) and uses them to guide all actions and decisions, including interactions with others.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities and assignments as designated or necessary, which may encompass activities such as creating corporate presentations and training materials, developing materials for new projects, crafting corporate collateral, and initiating the launch of new programs.
  • Supervisor may identify and necessitate other pertinent tasks and activities.
  • Take part in weekly marketing conference calls with specific communities to ensure the progress and advancement of projects and priorities.
What will I need to be successful in this role?
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a relevant field.
  • Extensive expertise in luxury marketing.
  • 3-5 years of experience in luxury marketing, advertising, and graphic design.
  • Proficiency in graphic design is advantageous.
  • Proven track record of collaborating with external agencies for designing and executing direct marketing campaigns.

  • Must be able to travel as required.
  • Must be fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop and have a working knowledge of four-color printing process.
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Must have knowledge of Internet advertising and marketing.
  • College graduate with 3-5 years in luxury marketing, advertising, and graphic design experience.
  • Strong background and proven track record in luxury marketing.
  • Must have ability to influence and drive results through data-driven recommendations.
  • Formulates and conveys well-defined goals, responsibilities, and priorities. Exhibits a robust work ethic and unwavering dedication to achieving outcomes.
