Position Summary

The Assistant Marketing Manager supports marketing activities through the planning, organization, and implementation of in-store activations and travel industry partnerships under the guidance of the U.S. Division Marketing Manager to increase traffic and maximize sales across our Luxury Retail Operation.

This is an on-site position in Honolulu, Hawaii with remote flexibility and required quarterly travel to outer-islands. We are seeking someone with a connection to our community in order to best support outreach in the Travel and Tourism industries.

Primary Responsibilities

- Coordination and execution of marketing campaigns and events with support from U.S. Division Marketing team in Torrance and local Visual Merchandising team.

- Ensures the location teams are well briefed on all marketing efforts, necessary collateral and staffing are on hand to execute activations, campaigns and events are implemented smoothly and then provides post mortem analysis and results on all marketing activities.

- Partner with U.S. Division Marketing Assistant to execute in-market communication strategies to drive traffic.

- Drive travel industry marketing efforts by identifying opportunities and developing plans to promote our stores to Hawaii visitors with a focus on Japanese travelers.

- Establish relationships with airlines, travel agents, hotels and resorts and develop partnership and promotion opportunities to drive sales and repeat business.

- Prepare proposals and reports for internal and external partners.

- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite

- Adobe Creative Suite a plus

- Flexible schedule

- Japanese a plus

Experience

- B.A. or B.S. in Marketing or Communication

- 3-5 years marketing experience

- Travel agent, hotel industry experience or exposure a plus
