Note: Hybrid office/telecommute is negotiable. Frequent travel is required April-June as part of the job is to prepare for, attend, conduct, or observe trainings.

In this role you will serve as the statewide administrator of Washington\'s Marine Law Enforcement (MLE) program. This position has frequent interactions with law enforcement agency personnel seeking specific information that requires a detailed knowledge of Washington\'s boating laws and regulations. We are looking for an experienced Law Enforcement/or Marine Law Enforcement professional who is well versed in Washington\xe2\x80\x99s Marine regulations. We want someone who is passionate about boating safety. Who is proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable. Someone that\xe2\x80\x99s flexible and can adjust to shifting priorities while meeting high priority deadlines. We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for someone who has a strong sense of integrity and excellent customer service skills. Duties
This position reports to the Boating Program Manager and is responsible for ensuring that local law enforcement agencies have access to marine law enforcement training, technical support, funding and recognition in their pursuit of law enforcement activities that support the State Parks\' mission of ensuring that recreational boating in Washington State is a safe and enjoyable past time.
