Serves as the Operations Manager for the SIG SAUER Academy, responsible for planning and directing Academy operations related to classes, contracts, and events. Supervises the Academy operations team. Works closely with Academy managers to coordinate all efforts related to classes, private contracts, and events.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervises Academy operations team to ensure a high-quality student experience from registration to course attendance.
  • Directly responsible for maintaining Academy class and support schedule. Drives revenue with accurate forecasting and assessment of course demand.
  • Coordinates and manages all training activities at SSA to ensure efficient and timely delivery of training.
  • Develops, documents, and implements Standard Operating Procedures (SOP\xe2\x80\x99s).
  • Manages student registrations from initial entry at SSA website to student arriving at SSA for training by effectively directing the efforts of the Academy support team.
  • Serves as the interface between SSA back-office support team and marketing team to drive class fills rates based on enrollment.
  • Daily manages the tracking of all SSA future fill rates and reports to SIG SAUER departments as required.
  • Works closely with Academy leadership to ensure all Academy classes and events are sufficiently staffed, supported, and executed.
  • Class cancellations, gift card issuance for cancellations, adjustments where applicable.
  • Answers and directs phone calls to the SSA as required.
  • Backfills Vice President of Operations as needed.

Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree required, preferably in Business Management.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the ability to accurately perform tasks in all of the following: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to evaluate multiple ongoing tasks and non-routine situations, determine priorities and organize work in a manner that allows for timely completion of projects within deadline parameters.
  • Self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision.
  • Capable of presenting a positive, professional image of the company to a wide variety of contacts.
  • Demonstrates comfortable ability interacting with internal and external customers daily.
  • Able to work both in a team environment and independently, taking direction from multiple staff members and supervisors.

Working Conditions:
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which is required in designated areas.
