POSITION SUMMARY

Sony Corporation of America (SCA) is seeking a Business Operations Planning Manager to support the launch of a new business incubated within SCA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, implement, and regularly coordinate detailed Operational Planning Models aligning activities between internal stakeholders from Sales, Network Engineering, Customer Operations and Local Market Teams to maintain the customer status source of truth.

Develop joint processes with Deployment Operations \xe2\x80\x93 Supply Chain Teams to leverage Operational Planning Models as an input into Demand Planning.

Partner within the Business Operations & Intelligence team to develop and administer planning activities in compliance with key data models.

Envision, implement and lead OKR planning processes on behalf of SCA

Act as the primary point of contact working with key Third-Party Partners to jointly align on threshold customer status definitions and managing of customer cohorts against these definitions.

Develop joint processes within the Business Operations & Intelligence team to qualify customer cohorts based on status for Third-Party Partner billing.

Prepare and deliver regular progress-to-plan reporting to senior leadership with recommendations for any modifications to stay on plan.

Skillfully coordinate and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the org structure delegating and managing without direct authority.

Coordinate across other Sony business units to proactively identify opportunities to enable a \xe2\x80\x9cOne Sony\xe2\x80\x9d experience.

Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION

Your qualifications and experience should include:

5-7 years in quantitative business analysis, preferably in technology, software and/or telecommunications industries. Strong preference for candidates with experience in multiple.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Macros, report building in BI Tools (Power BI/ Tableau) and data model development and management.

Proven ability to lead diverse cross-functional teams across multiple time zones and high-pressure situations with and without formal management authority.

Demonstrated ability to launch new businesses, from business design to first new customer served.

Demonstrated ability to collaboratively design and implement scalable processes and systems for new products within a large company environment, working at a start-up pace.

Passion for enabling world-class customer experiences.

Proven low ego, team-first mentality, and approach to work

Adaptability to changing requirements and the ability to be deeply creative while providing operational rigor a must.

Experience working with operational teams in Japan. Japanese speaking a plus.

Annual incentive bonus

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $150,000 to $165,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
