Job Description

Logistics coordinator is responsible for quoting, scheduling and analyzing freight requirements and needs, allocating schedules and communicating internally and to Purple Wave customers. Researches shipments and prepares freight documents. Collaborates with other Purple Wave departments and vendors as necessary. Job Duties Logistics Coordinator is responsible for timely and accurately providing shipping quotes and creating contractual agreements between parties. Responsibilities also include SOP creation, resolving shipping and contractual issues, analyzing state specific carrier regulations and costs. Candidates must possess good communication, negotiation skills and a knowledge of programs used within the industry. Agricultural and Construction knowledge is preferred.
