PRIMARY FUNCTION: The primary function of a Logistics Coordinator is organizing and coordinating the customer loads on company asset trucks as well as brokerage trucks. This individual will be responsible for efficient load coordination with the driver and customer to ensure on-time loading and delivery of customer loads. Successful candidate must be able to adapt to a fast pace, ever changing situations with drivers and equipment with customer satisfaction being number one. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: \xe2\x97\x8f Order taking and entry of new loads in TMS system.\xe2\x97\x8f Tracking and monitoring of loads en-route.\xe2\x97\x8f Efficiently coordinate loads with asset and broker trucks to ensure on-time loading and delivery of customer loads. \xe2\x97\x8f Onboarding of Broker Trucks and Carriers.\xe2\x97\x8f Efficiently coordinate loads with asset trucks and available broker trucks.\xe2\x97\x8f Quick thinking and able to resolve issues with the best possible positive outcome.\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent communication skills with dispatchers, customers, drivers and broker carriers. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: \xe2\x97\x8f Truck load dispatch or equivalent work experience. Training available for the right candidate.\xe2\x97\x8f Strong customer service skills.\xe2\x97\x8f Proficiency with MS office and ability to learn TMS system.\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to execute a vision, manages multiple priorities, and achieves results.\xe2\x97\x8f Outgoing personality with expertise at building developing relationships with drivers, carriers and customers. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: \xe2\x97\x8f Must be able to sit and use telephone and computer, simultaneously, for extended periods\xe2\x97\x8f Must be able to speak and hear clearly in a high volume telephone environment.
