PFY is seeking to hire one full-time Data Entry Specialist who will have the primary role of supporting programmatic data needs as it relates to sexual health and essential support services provided. To be successful in their role, the Data Entry Specialist will have an understanding of the needs of the LGBTQ+ community and demonstrate the core values of the agency; respect, integrity, inclusiveness, collaboration, and dependability. Responsibilities: 1) Enter all confidential program data into database systems in a timely manner, following HIPAA-compliant protocols 2) Assist staff with internal data-into-care programs 3) Communicate efficiently with staff regarding data discrepancies 4) Communicate effectively with Data Analyst regarding data entry and quality concerns 5) Attend weekly staff meetings, reporting on data concerns 6) Responsible for adhering to all state/federal laws and regulations surrounding HIV/AIDS Confidentiality and HIPAA 7) Assist Data Analyst with data analytics as needed 8) Maintain weekly records of data entry 9) Perform standard-levels of analysis when possible 10) Additional activities as assigned by the Data Analyst Requirements: Completion of GED/High School diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Excel. Have the ability to learn new software programs quickly and be able to problem-solve common IT issues. A developed tech-savviness and fluidity in software programs is preferred. Ideal candidate will demonstrate a level of responsibility, organization, integrity and trustworthiness. Candidate is expected to be flexible when assigned various data-related tasks by supervisor. Professional and lived experience working with LGBTQ+ population is a plus.
