Job Description


Learning and Development encompasses a set of activities designed by an organization to develop and improve the skills and competencies of its employees to enable it to achieve its set business objectives. It is a total presentation of the various ways an organization can empower its employees to achieve its set objectives. This could take the place of training, coaching, mentoring, job shadowing, learning management system (LMS), learning experience platform (LXP), certifications, and massive online open courses (MOOC) \xe2\x80\x93 self-directed learning. Position Description The L&D Specialist will design, develop, implement, and oversee training and leadership programsfor Arbin employees, customers, and stakeholders. Identify goals and establish assessment standards and benchmarks to evaluate the program\xe2\x80\x99s success. Manage the production of guides, videos, and other supporting content.Work in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and teams throughout the program development process. Major Areas of Responsibility \xc2\xb7 Design and implement 10-day standard onboarding training program for all Arbin employees \xc2\xb7 Design product training materials for each major product family \xc2\xb7 Design train-the-trainer curriculum for field service reps who train customers \xc2\xb7 Design specific job function training material for 32 core job functions \xc2\xb7 Administer the Learning Management System \xc2\xb7 Administer UDEMY Enterprise accounts \xc2\xb7 Work with VP of Human Resources to develop Leadership Programs \xc2\xb7 Support Change Management, with process specific training Additional Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Maintain program data and tools to train staff and others. \xc2\xb7 Liaise with departments to manage and assign training programs. \xc2\xb7 Plan and coordinate proper venues, timing, and modality. \xc2\xb7 Make recommendations to training agenda or curriculum. \xc2\xb7 Oversee and participate in the development of training materials, \xc2\xb7 Maintain attendance logs, incident reports, and other necessary records. \xc2\xb7 Lead, mentor, counsel and manage performance of project staff (depending upon project structure). \xc2\xb7 Serve as a thought leader, mentor and coach on continuous improvement tools. \xc2\xb7 Provide input on safety, quality, or efficiency risks to the manufacturing process. \xc2\xb7 Support other teams with projects as directed. \xc2\xb7 Act as a change agent to drive continuous improvement throughout. \xc2\xb7 Compile and analyze data to help with budget preparation and training priorities. \xc2\xb7 Be responsible for a values-based approach to leadership education and development within the company. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities \xc2\xb7 Curriculum Design \xc2\xb7 Assessment Design \xc2\xb7 Survey Design \xc2\xb7 Data Analysis \xc2\xb7 Small and medium sized group facilitation Value-add Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities \xc2\xb7 Language proficiency in Chinese (Spanish or German are also useful) \xc2\xb7 Have basic Electrical Engineering knowledge including component/circuit \xc2\xb7 Able to use multimeter, oscilloscope and other common equipment. \xc2\xb7 Experience with ERP or CRM systems. Education and Experience \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s or Graduate\'s Degree in business, business administration, computer science or engineering, human resources or education. \xc2\xb7 Experience with LMS, Online learning platforms and Adobe Creative Suite \xc2\xb7 Demonstrated leadership skills and attention to detail. \xc2\xb7 A problem solver and critical thinker dedicated to continuous improvement. \xc2\xb7 Prior experience in a consulting position. \xc2\xb7 Able to collaborate and also lead with decision making. \xc2\xb7 Sound time management skills. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Benefits:
