The Learning & Development Specialist will design, create, implement, and manage learning and development programs that support the organization\'s products. This role will work closely with and provide training to internal staff (e.g., business implementation, customer success, product development, business operations), as well as customers. A successful candidate in this role should have experience designing and delivering training solutions for diverse audiences, managing a variety of tasks related to creation and distribution of learning material, and wield an entrepreneurial and creative approach to disseminating knowledge across an organization and its customer base.

What You Will Do

  • Design, develop, and deliver training solutions for software products and systems processes.
  • Work closely with product teams and product users to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of training and supporting materials to align with products and business processes.
  • Create, organize, extend, and enhance training materials including e-learning, manuals, guides, multimedia visual aids, and other resources.
  • Facilitate training sessions both in person and through virtual platforms to diverse groups.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices relating to adult learning and software product training.
  • Support the organization\'s talent development initiatives by providing resources and guidance to leaders and employees that align with the organization\'s goals.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience in a role within Instructional Design, Education, Training, Communications
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programs
  • Knowledge and application of adult learning principles, instructional design, and learning methodologies
  • Experience developing courses or learning tools using digital platforms (ex: Degreed, Canva, Articulate, video productions, mobile apps, etc.)
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience taking complicated concepts and building training programs from scratch
  • Experience with curation of knowledge; locating and evaluating valuable content, breaking down complicated topics and structuring content to help others learn them, contextualizing and/or re-purposing content for diverse groups.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS), authoring tools, digital adoption platforms, or other technology platforms used in the design and delivery of learning programs.
  • Experience with emerging technologies such as videos, augmented reality, virtual reality, simulators, and generative AI such as ChatGPT.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in supply chain management and/or transportation logistics.
  • Experience in change management/transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with software development methodologies such as agile and scrum.

For this role, we anticipate paying $60,000-$80,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
