Director of Information Technology
SUMMARY
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Responsible for all IT management strategies for TLC Casino Enterprises including maintaining the accessibility, functionality, and security of all computer resources. Ensure all business-critical systems operate efficiently. Engage, develop, & lead the IT team thereby providing excellent customer service as well as improving on IT best practices. Ability to identify operational efficiencies and streamline business processes. Collaborate with other departmental leaders to meet company initiatives and business opportunities. Ensure compliance with all governing regulations and gaming internal control standards.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of IT management experience preferably in the gaming industry.
  • Advanced degree in computer science, IT governance, or management information systems-preferred.

Other Required Job Skills/Duties:
  • Assess the organization\xe2\x80\x99s technology needs and make upgrade recommendations.
  • Set short-term and long-term IT implementation goals
  • Plan and direct new hardware and software deployments
  • Protect sensitive data, systems, and applications from external threats.
  • Develop data security and information management policies to mitigate cybersecurity risks including training for end users.
  • Implementation of a formal change management policy ensuring efficient and prompt handling of changes to IT infrastructure and code.
  • Coordinate and facilitate projects between different departments thereby meeting the organization\xe2\x80\x99s unique business requirements.
  • Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, & mentor all IT personnel.
  • Strong analytical & problem solving skills to design and implement complex technology integrations.
  • Oversee, direct, & coordinate all IT activities with a strong foundation in modern business technologies.
  • Knowledgeable in IT governance and systems analysis, implementation of best practices, and adherence to an effective policy to review operating and application systems on an annual basis for obsolescence.
  • Proactive, progressive, and ability to be flexible in a changing environment.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion in confidential matters.
  • Demonstrated ethical conduct and reliable decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of gaming regulations, terminology, concepts, and practices; and other laws and regulations, as may be applicable.
  • Skill in planning and project management, and in maintaining composure under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines, and in negotiating issues and resolving conflicts.
  • Skill in effective verbal and written communications, including active listening skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with peers, staff, and external contacts, and to work effectively in a professional team environment.
  • Safeguards all company assets.
Computer Equipment and Software:
  • Working knowledge of various software applications supporting hotel, point-of-sale, gaming, financial, human resources, & payroll functions.
  • IT systems include both windows & IBM I Series servers.
Certification, Licenses, Registrations:
  • Gaming License



Physical Requirements

Uphold the company\xe2\x80\x99s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements. Work evening, weekend and holiday work hours as required.
