BH Solutions Group is an Executive Recruiting and Consulting firm located in Akron, OH.

Currently seeking an IT Support Technician who has functional accountability and reports directly to the Manager of IT Support. The position is hands-on, and phone based technical support and light training for assigned offices, as well as overflow for all offices. The position is responsible for delivering quality and consistent day-to-day support as part of the firm IT group, and as a resource for assigned offices. The candidate/employee will possess significant knowledge and experience as an IT support technician, have excellent communication skills, and should have a strong knowledge of support operations.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for the IT Support Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to all telephone, in person and e-mail-based support requests from users within her/his region as the priority, document all support incidents using the firm support ticketing solution, and escalate problems as needed.
• Responsible for the overflow support from other regions, 24\xc3\x977 rotating on-call periods, 20-30% regional travel, and participation in firm IT projects.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Phone and desk side PC and telecommunications support for the Akron location
• Phone and desk side application support for MS Office 2010/2016, MS Windows 7/10 and other software applications used by the various practice groups
• Use of call Tracking System
• Escalate problems and projects as needed
• Participation in on-call pager rotation (5/6 week rotation)
• Manage support vendor relationships (Printer & Copier, Other facility vendors)
• Provide technical support and assistance to regional offices as needed

Education/Experience

Requirements for the IT Support Technician

• Associate\'s Degree in a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of related IT experience with progressively increasing responsibilities.
• Will possess strong communication and organizational skills and be comfortable communicating with staff, shareholders and executives at all levels of the organizat
• Excellent PC and software troubleshooting skills
• Expert level Microsoft Office Skills - All Versions
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills
• Excellent vendor relations skills
• Strong Mobile Device Knowledge
• Strong Printer/Copier Troubleshooting Skills
• Strong PC Imaging/Software Install Experience
• Strong MS Windows 7/10 Experience
• Experience using call tracking and ticketing systems
• Experience working as a field technician in a satellite location is a plus
• Able to meet the needs of a geographically dispersed audience.
• Able to lift and move PC equipment of all types.
• Law firm experience is preferred
• Business or business casual dress is required.
