Ideal candidate would be able to start at 7:00AM and provide coverage for dispatch department desk as needed.
This postion will assit with quartely inventories.
This position does not require equipment operation, but will be in warehouse for corporate inventory, checking inventory or seeing information on outgoing container or the product within

Summary:
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for product forecasting for 3 different markets for multiple wine and spirits suppliers, as well as ordering direct on some suppliers and working with our Washington partners to move other suppliers to Alaska via container ships among other job duties.

Job Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Forecast for a multitude of wine and spirits items from many suppliers through history, direction from sales, intuition, as well as new trends and placements

\xc2\xb7 Work with multiple computer systems to determine what to transfer between locations.

\xc2\xb7 Work with suppliers to determine order status and ETA\xe2\x80\x99s to different locations

\xc2\xb7 Built container shipments to weight

\xc2\xb7 Work with our Washington partners to add or change product on containers

\xc2\xb7 Meet strict deadlines for container shipments.

\xc2\xb7 Work through stock status reports and be able to reconcile out of stock and over stock issues

\xc2\xb7 Develop solutions for out of stock and over stock situations on perishable goods

\xc2\xb7 Work well with suppliers, sales teams, operations teams and other logistics personnel

\xc2\xb7 Develop methods of transportation, and streamline processes where possible.

Job Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Must be detailed oriented, highly organized and comfortable working others.

\xc2\xb7 Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Outlook and Excel.

\xc2\xb7 2+ years of purchasing in beverage distribution preferred

\xc2\xb7 Degree preferred.

\xc2\xb7 Strong Logistics experience desirable
