Shift: Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm.


Pay: $22/hr DOE with opportunity for an increase based on the preformance appraisal and merit guidelines.

Reporting to the Assistant Operations Manager, this position works primarily in the warehouse, utuilizing MHE frequently, maintaining the inventory accuracy by conducting daily inventory counts and reconciliation through adjustments. Will provide a detailed analysis of why the inventory variances occurred and the required corrective guidance to prevent further inventory variances. Act as a conduit of information regarding inventory issues and trends between the warehouse and Operations Manager. Typically this position starts in the warehouse working alongside the Warehouse Workers and Manager to understand the inventory, product, and the flow of operations. This is a physical job while in the warehouse but you will also be on the computer to identify discrepancies and analyze variances.

Essential Duties:

• Perform daily cycle counts to include warehouse and service center items (excluding alpha parts) and input into Aplus.
• Reconcile and justify inventory variances daily utilizing the tools available within Aplus.
• Conduct inventory research on all inventory variances.
• Provide daily justification sheet to operations manager on variances with dollar amounts as specified prior to posting the cycle count.
• Update the Adjustment Track Sheet with all \xe2\x80\x9cA\xe2\x80\x9d type adjustments for the specific time period.
• Provide recommended courses of action in order to eliminate future variances.
• Assist the warehouse with receiving and computer concerns and research of inventory.
• Assist warehouse in maintaining accuracy of row-bin-tier records.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a fast paced environment.
• Previous AS400 (Aplus) experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
