HAPO Community Credit Union is hiring for a Bankruptcy Specialist ! If you are a self-starter who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team this is the position for you. The Bankruptcy Specialist is responsible for receiving, processing, and following up on Consumer and Commercial Bankruptcies for the whole Credit Union! That\xe2\x80\x99s right, you get to be the go-to person on all things Bankruptcy for the entire Credit Union, a position to really make your own. As a Bankruptcy Specialist you will provide assistance to both employees and members, learn local bankruptcy rules, build business relationships with vendors, attend court meetings when needed, and file documents with the bankruptcy court. Potential candidates should excel at multitasking and problem solving and be able to provide solutions to difficult circumstances. Core Bankruptcy Specialist Values:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing expert guidance to Collections & Credit Union Staff
• Communicate with membership over the phone and answer questions pertaining to their accounts
• File detailed claims & flag accounts in a timely manner to avoid loss and/or Bankruptcy Law violations
• Train & be cross-functional in several areas of the department
• E xceptional Member Service is expected with Attorney\xe2\x80\x99s, Trustees , Members & Staff.

Hours: M-F 9-6, Saturdays as needed Hourly Wage Range: $20.80-$30.43 Our Benefits: We offer competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
