Job Summary: The Post Closing Specialist will provide prompt and timely action for the completion of applications and loans received from correspondent lenders. The Post Closing Specialist will work closely with other team members in fulfilling collateral document needs and processing loan application documentation and records for final documentation completion. This position will require high efficiency in attention to detail and communication skills in order to properly complete the post-closing action of the loan applications. Salary/Wage: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour DOE (depending on experience) Location/Work Site: On-site or in office at CBC Mortgage Agency office in South Jordan, UT.   • Receives, opens, and appropriately identifies all incoming final document mail and matches it with the corresponding loan file.
  • Enters received date and type of document received into the Company\xe2\x80\x99s proprietary loan management system for each loan.
  • Track documents and generate reports as required to verify that missing documents and corrections are obtained in a timely manner according to investor requirements
  • Creates shipments for deliveries to custodians inclusive of transmittals and other reporting.
  • Conditions loans accordingly for all corrective requirements from lenders.
  • Files documents, final title policies, notes, and mortgages, following designated procedures
  • Maintains excellent customer service with both internal and external customers (our correspondent lending partners, investors and borrowers)
  • Maintains a professional image and adheres to standards consistent with company policies and procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One or more years of related experience in mortgage, banking, or similar industry or related field.
  • Previous experience with shipping/delivering secondary market loans
Other Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of mortgage, conventional, and government loan terminology
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Proficient capacity to work cooperatively with others in a team environment
  • Able to work effectively with changing priorities
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
