Description: Job description Apollo Behavior is a Behavioral Health Center of Excellence looking for an experienced Intake Coordinator to join our team. The Intake Coordinator will assist with managing the registration process during onboarding for new clients seeking ABA Therapy. Your typical day might include:

  • Ensure efficient onboarding of clients, including by verifying client\xe2\x80\x99s insurance eligibility, obtaining prior authorizations, and ensuring reauthorizations as needed
  • Monitor, analyze, understand, and report on new recruiting and hiring needs, as determined by current client waitlists, accounting for geographic and timing constraints
  • Maintain positive relationships with all current clients, prospective clients, clinical staff, prospective employees, fellow team members, and referral sources
  • Transmit correspondence or medical records by mail, e-mail, or fax
  • Request details from outside agencies for assisting the clients\' families
  • Transcribe spoken or written information
  • Answer phones and complete associated administrative tasks
  • Compile data or documentation
  • Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources
  • Create and maintain client records

What you need:
  • Associate\'s degree in Medical Office Management, Medical Staffing, Health Administration, or related field
  • Professional certification for healthcare coordinators or CPAR is preferred
  • Experience with billing software
  • Proficient in using data entry software, Microsoft Office, Google Docs
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, ICD, and CPT coding (highly advantageous).
