Job Summary:
This is a full-time position within RCPL in Overland Park, KS. The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for providing professional and courteous assistance to RCPL new patients. This position would be accountable for overseeing all scheduling aspects of new patients to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming calls.
  • Address incoming emails.
  • Collect demographic and insurance information from patients.
  • Enter patients into EMR and payment systems.
  • Gather information regarding patients\xe2\x80\x99 needs.
  • Schedule new patient appointments.
  • Send new patient emails or packets in the mail to all new clients.
  • Receive and process intake paperwork and insurance cards.
  • Maintain referral spreadsheet.
  • Attend weekly department meetings.
  • Collect patient payments.
  • Backup for front desk as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by Managing Director.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • High integrity.

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Accurate data entry skills with knowledge of basic keyboarding.
  • Professional and courteous telephone skills.
  • Knowledge of confidentiality and release of information.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability and willingness to collect monies from patients.
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills with the word, excel, and outlook.
  • Knowledge and skill in the use of typical office equipment such as calculator, fax machine, copier, computer, telephone, postage meter, scanner, and computer programs.
