Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree (Psychology, Complementary Integrative Medicine, or similar preferred)
  • Personal experience and familiarity with 1 or more of the following modalities:
  • Transpersonal/Existential Psychology
  • Mindfulness/meditation
  • Ecopsychology/Ecotherapy
  • Somatic Therapy
  • Expressive Arts Therapy
  • Or other similar alternative therapeutic modalities
  • Motivated, enthusiastic, engaged, innovative, creative, attuned, compassionate, consciously communicative, light hearted, and integritous in interactions with our clients, therapists, and the community
  • Self-directed, independent problem solver, technology savvy, quick learner, excellent time management skills
  • Actively maintaining your own stress management and open to personal growth, evolution, and transformation as a part of your work and have your own established and regular creative, somatic, and mindfulness/meditation practices
  • Awesome interpersonal/relational written and verbal conscious communication skills and great ability to calmly and effectively assist in stressful situations
  • Enthusiastically and exquisitely detail oriented
  • Excellent organizational skills for self, other providers, and organization
  • Adept at task switching rapidly and repeatedly throughout the day while prioritizing tasks appropriately, maintaining good organization, and ultimately completing tasks in a timely manner
Required
  • Understanding and proficiency with insurance lingo, checking insurance benefits, claims, CPT coding, medical billing, following up on denied claims, and basic accounting
  • Good working familiarity or fast learner with Google Drive and associated apps, EHR, Adobe, digital fax, electronic scanning, etc
  • Adept at moving between different apps, software, and systems easily and helping others to do the same
Preferred
  • Proficient at email, social media, and print marketing skills (Mailchimp, FB, Instagram)
  • Website programming savvy (Wordpress, html)
  • Familiarity with SimplePractice EHR software
Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to\xe2\x80\xa6)
  • Responding to phone calls, emails, and other client inquiries
  • Workflow management for the entire client journey, including client phone call intakes, creating new client files, sending virtual welcome intake packet to clients, managing client intake paperwork process, checking insurance benefits, and guiding clients to appropriate and available therapists and services
  • Managing client copays and payments, interfacing with biller, EHR, and/or insurance to follow up on denied claims and correcting claim info
  • Interfacing with insurance for credentialing/recredentialing or contracting as needed
  • Tracking registrations, payments, cancellations, refunds, insurance for groups
  • Email, social media, and print marketing, website updates
  • Assist CSC therapists and practitioners with client and administrative needs
  • Assistance with event planning for groups
  • Managing office supplies
  • Filing
  • Participating in administrative and development meetings and retreats and trainings

  • Approximately 30 hours per week with some flexibility in the schedule (dependent on workflow) possible but generally must be able to work 5-6 hours per day 4-5 days per week with about half of that time in person.
