This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00am \xe2\x80\x93 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.

Primary Responsibilities:
Acting as outward-facing resource lead for assigned accounts, typically with direct client contact * Acting as a single point of contact for clients during implementation phases and working alongside relevant departments.

  • Detail and capture customer intent by providing proactive solutions to non-standard requests and problems by interpreting the client request and aligning appropriate resources
  • Audit Sales documents for adherence to quality measures and reporting standards
  • Build and maintain internal and external relationships
  • Facilitate and document implementation meetings and communicate next steps in the Implementation process
  • Preparation of plan materials
  • Manage the implementation and maintenance of a book of business that includes self-funded and fully insured customers
  • Actively participate in cross-functional team projects
  • Research issues and develop customer specific resolutions
  • May attend and participate in face out customer meetings
  • Facilitate closure of internal and external audits through timeline and plan change submissions
  • Other duties as required to support the customer implementation process
  • Work overtime as needed during Open Enrollment Season (November \xe2\x80\x93 January); typically, 10 \xe2\x80\x93 15 hours weekly

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 2+ years of experience managing projects
  • 2+ years of healthcare industry experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, edit/create spreadsheet)
  • Experience in a customer service-related environment
  • Understanding of the healthcare industry, products and medical benefits within each product
  • Proficiency using a computer and Windows PC applications including strong keyboard and navigation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word (create/edit/read/write documents)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams (mail and calendar)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint (create/edit/read/write documents, and presentation slides)
  • Ability to work during normal business hours of 8:00am \xe2\x80\x93 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree (or higher)
  • Project Management experience or has participated on projects with specific assignments and timelines to meet
  • Knowledge and understanding of Medical Terminology
  • Familiar with the Surest product
Telecommuting Requirements:
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
Soft skills:
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Adeptness in learning new computer programs; the ability to type and talk at the same time and toggle between multiple screens
