We are seeking a talented Business Implementation Manager that understands the organization\xe2\x80\x99s goals and how a project portfolio supports this work. This role will give you an opportunity to work with Premera\xe2\x80\x99s leaders and Medical Directors.

As a Business Implementation Manager, you will lead and manage the implementation of business focused projects, initiatives, and work efforts. Lead a cross-functional team to ensure objectives of assigned work are met and that work is completed on time and in line with business expectations. Provide support to business leaders in planning for work including analyzing impact of work, identifying resources needed to accomplish objectives and key issues that will impact team success. May assist business leaders in analyzing and planning for future initiatives.

This position can be hired as a Level II or Level III, depending upon experience. This is a virtual/telecommuter position, working from home.

The type of implementation managed may vary by department. In the Medical Management and Population Health department, this role will manage the implementation of new regulations, utilization management, and population health and similar operational changes.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

  • Develop work schedules and implementation plans for moderately complex assigned implementations with impacts across multiple departments and sometimes with undefined deliverables.
  • Collaborate with business partners such as legal and regulatory to ensure appropriate scope and considerations are included in implementation plan.
  • Identify and secure resources needed for implementations to ensure compliance with regulations or product design.
  • Where required, partner with IT resources to enable system enhancements.
  • Coordinate, direct, and hold accountable resources involved in implementation, including those from other business areas. May assist teams in successfully negotiating ownership and desired results of impacts of implementations, initiatives or work efforts with stakeholders and impacted areas.
  • Provides leadership in defining the scope of change, related impacts, and evaluation of implementation approach.
  • Communicates both orally and in written forms (formal and informal), with all audiences within the organization and the implementation team.
  • Monitor implementation activities and schedules to ensure achievement of goals.
  • Document activities and decisions made by team.
  • Escalate issues/risks as needed.
  • Analyze data and evaluate and distill analysis conducted by others, and prepare preliminary interpretations and reports summarizing and synthesizing analytical results. Use this information to develop business cases in response to findings for discussion and review with business owners.
  • Identify any gaps in processes, ensuring that solutions are found, communicated and documented.
  • Conduct post implementation lessons learned evaluation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business or the equivalent of four (4) years business experience (Required for level II and III).
  • Three (3) years of implementation management, business management or project management experience (Required for level II).
  • Five (5) years of implementation management, business management or project management experience (Required for level III).
  • Working knowledge of Premera operations.
  • Previous project management experience.
  • Working knowledge of insurance products and regulations.
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree or project management certification.
  • Experience in health care or regulated environment.
National Salary Pay Range (Level II)

$65,500 - $105,800

National Plus Salary Pay Range (Level II)

$70,300 - $119,500

National Salary Pay Range (Level III)

$75,200 - $127,900

National Plus Salary Pay Range (Level III)

$85,000 - $144,500

The pay for this role will vary based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate\xe2\x80\x99s geographic location, market conditions, and specific skills and experience.

National Salary Range: $75,200.00 - $127,900.00

National Plus Salary Range: $85,000.00 - $144,500.00

*National Plus salary range is used in higher cost of labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska.
