Human Resources Coordinator
Elemental Enzymes is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our growing Human Resources team. The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for conducting a variety of human resources activities including screening and onboarding, employee communications, HRIS data entry, and several other HR processes and projects. The successful candidate will join a team that is passionate about sustainable agriculture and biochemical based solutions.

  • Maintains Human Resources records by recording new hires, terminations, addressing any changes and updates, tracking specific required information, and performing periodic audits of HR files.
  • Coordinates new employees\xe2\x80\x99 onboarding by providing orientation information packets; reviewing company policies; gathering withholding and other payroll information; taking the company photos; and scheduling new employees\xe2\x80\x99 onboarding schedules.
  • Addressing all administrative and receptionist HR responsibilities, through excellent communication, phone etiquette, organization, and customer service.
  • Proactively supports the Human Resources Department by screening applicants.
  • Documents Human Resources actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
  • Attends recruiting events such as career fairs, campus events, as needed
  • Accomplishes Human Resources Department and Organization Mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Always maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Required Experience
  • High school diploma required, Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Psychology, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • At least two years of related experience required.
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel with the ability to learn new or updated software.
  • Familiarity with HRIS & cloud-bases sharing software.
  • Demonstrate initiative and ability to prioritize responsibilities and work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent people skills including verbal and written communications and the ability to exercise good judgement related to sensitive information and events.

Physical Requirements
  • Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
  • Standing: Particularly for sustained periods of time.
  • Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
  • Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires substantial use of upper extremities and back muscles.
  • Fingering: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling.

  • Feeling: Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips.
  • Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.
  • Repetitive motion: Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • None: The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
