Job Responsibilities

The Human Resources Coordinator works in the Personnel Unit of the Division of Law Enforcement and Safety at the University of South Carolina. In support of the University police department\'s overall law enforcement mission, this position prepares and submits documentation for all human resource actions involving new and existing employees; organizes and submits promotional paperwork, salary adjustments, and other employee documentation; assists the Division\'s Human Resources Manager in matters related to planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources programs, practices, and policies; and, assists with general administrative support duties, as directed.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

Bachelor\'s degree and 2 years experience in human resources management programs.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with human resources functions, practices, and policies. Knowledge of University of South Carolina internal process functions.

Additional Comments

Familiarity or ability to learn USC Policies and procedures.
