ESSENTIAL SKILLS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work closely with Leadership Team, and Human Resources team to create communication strategies to improve the way we listen to, communicate, and engage Team Members.
  • Keep communication boards and BOH messaging fresh and inviting to Team Members, communicating current property information in a manner that is eye catching and informative.
  • Help to plan, coordinate, and support Team Member events such as monthly recognition events, open enrollment, Team Member parties and other events designed to engage our Team Members and thank them for their hard work.
  • Maintains appropriate count and inventory of items that are used to recognize Team Members such as gift cards, movie tickets and recognition slips.
  • Conduct new hire, stay, and exit interviews for Team Members. Compile findings for Director of Human Resources.
  • Assists with conducting training classes and translation for meetings.
  • Assists Talent Acquisition with job fairs, recruiting events and hiring endeavors. Backs up the Talent Acquisition partner when on vacation.
  • Maintain the schedule for training rooms and conference rooms.
  • Assist with general Human Resources administration needs, such as mass mailings, copying and document preparations.
  • Always maintain a professional image; interaction with the public and team me is always conducted in a polite, courteous manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1-3 years of hands-on Human Resources experience.
  • Ability to exercise effective judgment, confidentiality, sensitivity, and creativity to changing needs and situations.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills needed (Word, Excel, Publisher & Outlook) along with internet research capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems while exhibiting sound judgment.
  • Comfortable with change & ability to adapt quickly to conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable workload.
  • Polished and professional presentation and communication style; capable of communicating complex content in a succinct manner in-person, over the phone, and through written correspondence.
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project and task.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with all levels of Team Members.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and within tight timelines.

EDUCATION: High school Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor\'s degree preferred.
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background investigation, and maintain a Pauma Gaming Commission License.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: (*Constantly, Frequently, Occasionally)
  • Occasionally walking and standing

  • Occasionally balancing, bending, reaching, twisting, holding, wrist motion, and stooping
