Job Description


Safe Harbor Marinas is seeking a highly motivated, goal-oriented hospitality professional to join the team as Hospitality Coordinator. The Hospitality Coordinator will report to the Vice President of Hospitality (within the central sales & marketing team) & work closely with marina and hospitality leadership to curate and manage the member experience. Safe Harbor is actively growing its range of member experiences and amenities, including special events, concierge services, dining and recreational facilities access and a unique new luxury waterfront lodging concept. The Hospitality Coordinator position would need to combine problem-solving skills, creativity, initiative, organization and teamwork to successfully develop and execute a wide range of innovative programming. Hospitality experience, a positive attitude and knowledge of / affinity for boating culture will likely be key ingredients of a successful applicant.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Utilize Safe Harbor\xe2\x80\x99s digital platforms to manage all hospitality reservations
  • Maintain relationships with the property team to deliver a cohesive & seamless member experience
  • Encourage the continued development of hospitality expertise and mindset within the property team
  • Concept & propose local promotional campaigns that have the ability to drive sales and enhance member experience
  • Manage property communication strategies and support the organization & promotion of member events and experience opportunities
  • Design & manage the customer experience specifically as it relates to the Safe Harbor Water Suites and other strategic partnership related amenities
  • Understand the overarching marketing/branding strategies and execute them at the local level
  • Ensure the Safe Harbor mission is at the forefront of delivering excellence in every aspect of our member & guest experience
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

Safety and Environmental Responsibilities
  • Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training
  • Wear proper personal protective equipment as required for the task or work area
  • Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately

Technical and Physical Requirements
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in hospitality, sales, management, marketing, communications, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of five (5) years hospitality experience
  • Proficiency in communications & social media platforms (MailChimp, Facebook, Instagram, Hootsuite)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and cloud file platforms (Dropbox, Google Docs)
