Position Summary

Embody a customer first mindset and possess deep knowledge across third-party marketplace domains. Report to the director of Digital Marketplace to develop strategic acceleration drivers including long-range growth initiatives specific to accelerating the customer, seller, and channel partner experiences. Essential Job Functions * Lead and provide strategy for new Marketplace initiatives from conception to scale across the enterprise that deliver on both customer and seller experiences

  • Leverage internal cross-functional relationships that keep marketplace at the forefront to optimize and deliver acceleration levers with merchant experience, site merchandising, and finance, and stores
  • Act as player-mentor-coach across the Kroger Digital Marketplace team
  • Lead all voice of the seller metrics translating into expanded service offering that positively affect the customer shopping experience to drive seller growth
  • Head annual planning that will translate into long-range planning and growth with the technical roadmap to achieve goals and objectives
  • Work across 84.51, marketing and external partnerships to support growth strategies internally that will support the overall Seamless experience that will make material impact to Kroger Marketplace

Minimum Position Qualifications * Bachelor\'s Degree in business, corporate strategy, operations, merchandising, supply chain, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce, 3rd party marketplaces, retail merchandising/category management (preferably eCommerce), and marketing
  • Any experience in leading a cross-functional team with authority or through influence
  • Any prior experience delivering strategic plans to various executive levels from VPs up to SVPs concisely to articulate business plans and outcomes
  • Executive level communication skills and presentation skills utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint)
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results driven that can inspire with impeccable stakeholder management while establishing and maintaining relationships across various levels of the enterprise, including the executive audiences
  • Proven ability to balance long-range, strategic leadership approach with near-term, detailed, day-to-day operational imperatives
  • Deep understanding of analytical philosophies to drive strategy and roadmap to ensure data driven decisions are made to influence priorities
Desired Previous Experience/Education * Master\'s Degree in business, corporate strategy, operations, merchandising, supply chain, or related field
  • Any experience in strategy development across multiple domains for third-party marketplaces
  • Any experience in developing long-term strategic relationships internally and externally
  • Aptitude for working with solution providers, product management, and engineering
