What You\'ll Do:

News Corp\'s Global Head of Talent Development will support businesses to grow crucial talent pipelines to ensure business continuity, develop a cohesive strategy to support HR teams across the BUs, and support senior talent movement.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage mobilization of talent.
Develop cross-BU pipelines.

Take accountability for the succession pipelines for specific job families across the businesses ensuring there is a wider bench businesses can utilize.

Build development pathways and intentional growth experiences, and ensure effectiveness.

Help create more fully rounded talent who are amply prepared for future roles.

Identify cross-BU opportunities that provide talent with critical exposure to other markets, products, teams, etc.

Bring additional support to HQ/NCS talent and capability development needs.

Required Experience and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
10+ years of years relevant experience with a strong understanding of all disciplines within HR: Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Employee Experience, Learning & Development & HR Operations

Experience working for a global company as well as a growth organization demonstrating adaptability and change management skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence managers and a proven track record of proactively analyzing situations, data, identifying employee needs, troubleshooting, and recommending appropriate solutions through to completion

Ability to work in, and navigate matrixed environments

Possess high-quality employee relations documentation and report preparation

Demonstrated experience building valued and trusted relationships with your clients

Role model for the highest standards of professionalism and ethics

Acts with integrity, professionalism, and is able to handle confidential information and issues with discretion and sound judgment

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills

Expert level experience with MS Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred experience :
  • Association for Talent Development (ATD)
Proven ability to work across a broad portfolio of talent and development related activities.

Good knowledge of trends, best practice, and developments in talent development.

Proven capabilities as a talent development specialist

Program design and planning

Project management

Ability to influence

Location : New York

Working Arrangement: In office at least 3 days per week.

Job Category:

Pay Range: $150,000 - $350,000
