The Opportunity: General Manager, Western Distribution Center - North Las Vegas, NV Location Your role at Sephora... As our General Manager of the Western Distribution Center, you are charged with leading and inspiring a team of up to 1,200 associates and overseeing all aspects of the operation with a primary focus on achieving defined service, cost, quality, and safety objectives. You will report into the VP, Logistics for the West, and have approximately 3-5 direct reports overseeing the facility\xe2\x80\x99s Dotcom and Retail fulfillment operations, including Inbound/Receiving, Outbound/Shipping, Reverse Logistics, Inventory Control and Facility management. You will work collaboratively across the Logistics network with Human Resources, Engineering, Transportation, Customer Service, Loss Prevention, Supply Chain and Logistics network leadership to define, monitor and achieve performance goals. Core responsibilities include:
  • Deliver building/network specific KPI\'s as determined by the company to include CPU by channel, Fill Rate, UPH and varying SLA\'s.
  • Support the company\xe2\x80\x99s aggressive growth strategy by driving innovations designed to improve operational efficiency through the introduction of new or substantially modified work methods and processes.
  • Plan and implement effective operational strategies with a strong level of business acumen.
  • Prepare, review, and manage distribution center budget to ensure financial objectives are being met.
  • Provide daily supervision of assigned Distribution Center management team providing overall direction for both Dotcom & Retail channel order fulfillment.
  • Maintain a partnership and open communication with site Human Resources team on all people related tasks & objectives, Temp Agency partnerships and learning and development initiatives and activities.
  • Partner with senior leadership to lead various DC/logistics network projects and initiatives.
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule and adhere to the requirement of working any designated shift and overtime as warranted by business and operational needs.
  • Provide high quality internal and external customer service per company standards.
  • Demonstrate a strong propensity for coaching and developing current and future leaders within the organization.
  • Ensure a strong building culture that continues to thrive and foster a sense of belonging for the team.
  • Regularly review metrics and key performance indicators and devise action plans to drive required managerial and operational behaviors accordingly.

We would love to hear from you if you meet the following:
  • Minimum of 10+ years\xe2\x80\x99 management experience in distribution, operations, or manufacturing, and minimum of 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 management experience in automated distribution centers >500K square feet with employee counts > 500 individuals.
  • Previous dual channel experience running large high-volume Retail and E-com DCs with 200+ store ODS and 50K+ orders/day SLA.
  • Previous Warehouse Management System experience, with preferred experience with Red Prairie or JDA.
  • Previous Automation experience, with preferred emphasis on goods to person, robotics, ASRS storage solutions, WES system a plus.

The annual base salary range for this position is $191,700 - $212,900. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant\xe2\x80\x99s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
