Description: Welcome to Tahiti Village Resort & Spa, an island-inspired oasis located on Las Vegas Boulevard less than two miles from the celebrated Las Vegas Strip, and just south of McCarran International Airport. Our all-suite resort brings many of the comforts of home to your vacation while offering a full list of amenities including a well-appointed spa, a nicely equipped fitness center, a Tahitian themed pool area with sand beach entry and a renowned relaxing Lazy River with cascading waterfall features; activities center, concierge, Wiki Wiki sundry, and 17\xc2\xb0 South Booze & Bites featuring limited gaming. Job Summary: Manage all aspects of the resort\xe2\x80\x99s operation. Provide quality owner/guest services while operating within budgetary constraints for a resort property with 862+ units. Ideal Candidate has a clear understanding of the scope of responsibility including day to day operations as well as future strategic planning and project management. Each day is spent focusing on the 3 pillars of hospitality; employees, owners and guests; finance while maintaining focus on the organizations culture and Purpose, Promise and Vision. This is an executive leadership role that requires professionalism, strong leadership skills and executive management presence. Essential Functions: Project Management:

  • Ensure all capital and reserve projects are done within time and budget scope.
  • Create and implement future projects for the betterment of guest, employees and safety. Produce a plan, budget and timeline for said projects, forecasting for upcoming year.
  • Monitor the maintenance needs of the physical plant and plan accordingly with the goal being no mechanical failures, continued growth in guest and employee experience.
Risk Management:
  • Follow all Safety and Security procedures to protect and ensure the safety of guests, employees and assets.
  • Proactively manage the resort\xe2\x80\x99s risk through the Soleil Management\xe2\x80\x99s safety program
  • Ensure safety, OSHA, HazCom, and MSDS compliance in all areas of the resort.
  • Ensure that a member of management is available for emergencies 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • Ensure timely and appropriate documentation of all accidents and incidents.
Service:
  • Work in conjunction with the Hotel Management team (HMT) to provide exceptional customer service in every interaction with owners and guests.
Oversee HMT effectively handling and fulfilling all guest requests and guest issues; ensuring that all owner and guest letters and correspondence receive a written or verbal response.
  • Meet or exceed RCI\xe2\x80\x99s ratings for Gold Crown
  • Maintain Interval International\xe2\x80\x99s resort rating Premier.
  • Ensure that service scores are kept at gold level, which includes actively responding to the alerts from the comment card program through LRA Worldwide.
  • Strive to reach the \xe2\x80\x9cVery Satisfied\xe2\x80\x9d in all service measures.
Accounting:
  • Produce annual budget for both the Vacation Club and the Master Owners Association.
  • Produce a capital expenditure plan for each new budget year.
  • Proactive involvement in the revenue management initiatives to drive revenues to the resort.
  • Ensure resort\xe2\x80\x99s operating costs are within budgetary guidelines and enforce manager accountability.
  • Give final approval for all invoices generated by the resort for payment.
Leadership:
  • Department Manager Leadership and Development.
  • Ability to work with multi levels of Executive Leadership.
  • Ability to work towards success with other divisions within the organization. Ie. Sales, Marketing, and ASC Ops.
  • Recruit, interview, hire and ensure proper training of new employees.
  • Conduct coaching, counseling, and disciplinary action.
  • Promote positive inter-departmental relationships.
General:
  • Strong understanding of departmental functions.
  • Understanding of large mechanical components.
  • Be involved with Soleil Management\xe2\x80\x99s social networking initiatives for the resort.
  • Proactively address any and all issues that could negatively affect overall resort quality.
  • Ensure full compliance to Resort operating controls, SOP\xe2\x80\x99s, policies, procedures and service standards.
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule based on business needs.
  • Ensure proper scheduling of all employees and maintain proper scheduling of managers.
  • Perform all other duties as needed.
  • Ability to adapt to new initiatives, change of course and prioritize appropriately.
Requirements: Job Specifications:
  • Proficient in Excel & Word. Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Minimum of five years experienced as a Resort General Manager or equivalent in the timeshare industry.
  • Must have professional appearance.
  • Must have the ability to create and adjust budgets.
