Job Description

We're looking for a creative and results-driven Freelance Marketing and Sales Representative to help drive engagement, increase visibility, and grow sales for our pet treat brand. This role blends marketing creativity with sales execution -- ideal for someone who loves content creation, connecting with retailers, and developing exciting promotions that convert.

Content Creation

Develop engaging photo and video content for social media, website, and email campaigns that align with brand messaging.

Monthly Promotions

Plan and execute monthly promotional campaigns and seasonal sales events for wholesale and direct retail channels.

Email Marketing

Design and schedule email newsletters and promotional emails through platforms like Klaviyo or Mailchimp.

Retailer Communication

Engage with retailers via Instagram and email to share new product updates, special offers, and reorder opportunities.

Product Photography

Coordinate and capture lifestyle and product images for online listings, marketing materials, and sales sheets.

Sales Support

Collaborate with internal sales teams to build retailer relationships, respond to inquiries, and track outreach results.

Market Research

Monitor competitor activity, social trends, and retailer feedback to identify new opportunities.

Reporting

Provide weekly summaries of marketing performance, campaign engagement, and retailer communications.

Qualifications

- Experience in marketing, sales, or social media management (pet industry experience a plus)

- Strong writing and communication skills

- Photography or basic design experience (Canva, Lightroom, or Adobe Suite preferred)

- Familiarity with Shopify, Faire, or wholesale marketing platforms

- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing multiple projects independently

$18-20/hr.
