Overview: The Financial Analyst position plays an integral role within the Financial Planning & Analysis team. This individual will be responsible for compiling and analyzing financial information for the organization. This role will perform routine and ad hoc analysis to enable key stakeholders to make informed decisions. Responsibilities/Qualifications: The Financial Analyst is to adapt to a continually changing business environment and seek out collaborative solutions that continually improve the financial analysis, data and outcomes, and budget operations of the organization. In addition, this role will help provide financial analysis, forecasting and planning to ensure annual profit and revenue goals are achieved.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports management with financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting (80%)
Create and publish weekly, monthly, and annual reporting and variance analysis
Assists in the corporate planning and forecasting processes
Work with different departments to provide actionable reporting/analysis to improve results and understand gaps
A variety of value-added corporate ad-hoc analysis as well as analysis requested by Executive Management and other corporate departments
Perform other financial analyst responsibilities as assigned
Special projects as necessary
Perform various responsibilities in support of corporate insurance policies (20%)
Prepare various tasks in conjunction with other departments to ensure risk is mitigated
Perform annual insurance analysis for renewals
Manages claims management process across all insurance lines to avoid improper claim denials and ensure orderly administration of claims
Administer fleet management across the enterprise in partnership with other leaders
Perform other insurance responsibilities as assigned
1-3 years of financial analysis experience with budgeting, variance reporting and analysis
Detail oriented, accurate, flexible, and able to work in a dynamic team-centric environment
Results-driven and possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to build relationships cross-functionally to drive attainment of goals and objectives
Demonstrated ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner
Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
