Crum & Forster Company Overview: Travel Insured International, a Crum & Forster company, is hiring for a Financial Analyst in our Glastonbury, CT office. The Financial Analyst will work in close partnership with the members of our Finance Team and the business who share your goals for success through collective partnership. This is a hybrid role (remote/in office) with time in our Glastonbury, CT office. : What you will do:
Compile daily and monthly reconciliations to ensure integrity of accounting data, including, but not limited to daily credit card reconciliations, monthly cash reconciliations, monthly commission run reconciliations, refund check reconciliations, etc.
Reconcile cash accounts monthly and prepare journal entries for bank accounts
Support budgeting, expense management initiatives and internal and external audits
Support accounts payable and vendor entry
Support production accounting acting as a back-up to team member
Support Daily Case management
Support QA testing for Finance and Accounting
Support internal control objectives
Create and distribute various management reports
Compile integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations
Compile and analyze financial information for TII
Provide accounting and analytical expertise to support TII projects
Works effectively with others; providing financial analysis and problem-solving data

Requirements:
BS in Accounting is required. Or, a BS in Finance, with demonstrated success in Accounting classes
At least 1year of related work experience is preferred, which can include aligned co-ops and/or internships
Advanced proficiency with MS Excel is required
Knowledge of income statement and Budgeting processes, financial reporting and analyses and financial statements is required
Solid knowledge of accounting principles and internal control methodologies is required
