TECHNICAL MANAGER AND COORDINATOR OF PERFORMANCE SPACES
Full-Time Exempt

The Technical Manager and Coordinator of Performance Spaces position is Open Until Filled so that we can find the ideal candidate for our amazing team.

As the Full-Time Exempt Technical Manager and Coordinator of Performance Spaces, you will oversee the smooth technical operation of three performing arts venues. Located on the main campus of the college, Jacoby Auditorium, Centerstage Theatre and Swanson Amphitheatre are the premiere performance spaces in Douglas County and are utilized by many departments internal to the college as well as by varying community groups. In addition, this position may occasionally be asked to help with lighting and sound in the Southern Oregon Wine Institute. Collaborating closely with the performing arts, facilities and events departments, this position is responsible for all technical production requirements for concerts & recitals, public events, theatrical productions and campus wide coordination of the space. There is also an opportunity to grow this role by bringing in events and acts to the space.

QUALIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates or bachelor\'s degree in Theatre, Technical Theatre or related field.
  • Two to four years of theater production or live event experience.
  • A combination of related education, experience and training may be used as an equivalent to the above Minimum Requirements
