We are looking for passionate Snowsports enthusiasts with experience in maintaining and servicing all Snowsports equipment to help Eaglecrest meet the needs of our community. Strong guest service skills and a positive collaborative attitude is a must.

You will be working with a passionate team of skiers and snowboarders. Most of your customers will be local community residents creating an opportunity to develop many long-lasting relationships with fellow staff members and Eaglecrest users.

WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION
You will be working at Eaglecrest Ski Area in the Porcupine Lodge at 3000 Fish Creek Road. Your work week will be Wednesday through Sunday 8:00am to 4:00pm plus all holidays. Overtime will be possible during holiday periods.

Typical Responsibilities

You will be expected to provide the highest level of customer service while leading the maintenance and repair of ski & snowboard equipment. You will provide technical oversight to a full-service rental and repair shop. You will be certified in multiple binding certifications and will be required to perform regular binding tests and daily adjustments.

This position provides guests with technical expertise in the maintenance and repair of their equipment to meet their performance expectations and fills out shop forms to assist the sales team to properly enter in their repair work on the point of sale. This position will establish DIN settings for skis, proper ski mount fittings, and snowboard binding settings. You will notify guests of any unsafe or out of date equipment that will not meet safety standards and fill out appropriate documentation. Additional duties include, maintaining all shop equipment such as jigs, grinders, waxing machines, and tools to include filing of all inspection and maintenance records. This position trains and assists Rental, Repair, & Retail staff on proper safety procedures in handling and completing skis, ski boots, snowboards, helmet, and ski pole maintenance. You will have the opportunity to assist in the rental shop by fitting gear, during occasional peak volume periods.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: None

Experience: One (1) season experience in maintaining, repairing and/or mounting ski and snowboards.

Other: Must be at least 18 years of age at time of appointment;

AND

Certified in at least 3 bindings. Continued employment is dependent upon passing annual Marker and Salomon certification exams.
