The Role Are you passionate about delivering impactful content and driving engagement through social media and being a key member of a fast-paced agile team? If so, Fidelity has an opening for you! This educational content creator role, part of the Personal Investing content team, will be responsible for writing and delivering educational content for distribution across social platforms. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be embedded into the Social Product Area, supporting the expansion of our social care program and related content development needs. We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for someone who has an expert-level understanding of social platforms and social-first content strategies who will help lead work for some of our key educational content initiatives. Your enthusiasm to keep current with instructional design trends and innovations with content formats is needed as we help the organization test and learn into improved educational opportunities for our customers. The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • Deep experience in online writing with a focus on social media (financial topics required)
  • Strong familiarity with multiple content formats, such as long-form articles, videos, short-form social posts, and infographics
  • Experience providing differentiated content for a target audience
  • Ability to break down complicated topics and make them clear, interesting, and useful
  • Deep knowledge of existing and emerging social media platforms
  • Proven understanding of content design, development processes, strategies, delivery, and evaluation methods
  • Ability to perform project scoping, needs analysis and supporting design scope documents
  • Data-analysis skills and a clear understanding of how to use insights to help inform optimizations/new strategies
  • A track record of delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Curious about industry trends and what competitors are doing to provide well-informed recommendations
  • Ability to create and maintain strong business relationships, building trust, and advocating for collaboration
  • A passion for problem solving and owning outcomes, as well as collaborating across multiple teams to accomplish goals
  • A talent to thrive in a fast-paced environment and easily adaptable to change
  • Able to balance objectives big and small, remaining persistent in the face of challenges while maintaining a positive demeanor
  • Experience with Agile principles a plus
The Team We have a passion for putting customers first and crafting content that is simple and engaging with the goal of helping our customers make informed financial decisions and build confidence while doing so. We are responsible for:
  • Driving the educational strategy, content creation, and standard methodologies in instructional design that are important to helping clients feel informed and educated.
  • Selecting appropriate online delivery formats and methods based on content, audience, and business needs.
  • Being familiar with how educational content is used throughout a large ecosystem to engage users and support products and services.
  • Understanding customer needs and can identify barriers/knowledge gaps along with learning solutions to close the gap.
  • Making progress in environments where there are many guardrails (such as legal, compliance, and/or brand).
