Telamon leads the pack in designing, building, and installing telecommunication networks enabling connectivity in all forms, from traditional mobile phone usage and connectivity in stadiums, hospitals and schools, all the way down to connected safety in our cars with the industrial manufacturing of wire harnesses for airbag and seatbelt applications. The Director of Sales attains assigned short and long term sales goals within budget focused on company key accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue and gross margin growth; meet the sales plan for the year
  • Partner with management to develop short- to middle-term strategy and assess performance against it
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing, sales and service plans and programs to achieve assigned quota in support of the sales and revenue objectives of organization.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key community and strategic partners.
  • Conduct market assessment on current and new product concepts, and provide feedback for future product development.
  • Partner with peers inside and outside Telamon to solve operational problems to Telamon\xe2\x80\x99s advantage

Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining robust communication with management regarding activities
  • Ability to effectively meet customer\'s needs, build productive internal and external stakeholder relationships, and take responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) effectively with stakeholders and senior business leadership of internal departments and customers
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues and conflicts regardless of manager\xe2\x80\x99s authority (or lack thereof) with the involved parties
  • Ability to escalate to the appropriate person, at the appropriate time, and in the appropriate manner
  • Ability to manage multiple parallel initiatives
  • Ability to understand the financial impact of decisions on the profitability of the proposed initiatives
  • Proficiency with basic office and sales management software such as SalesForce.com
  • Have a clear understanding of Telamon\xe2\x80\x99s core values of Honesty, Harmony, Simplicity and Stewardship. Personally and consistently model these values in everyday actions, encourage organization to practice these values and respectfully call out and discourage behavioral gaps that exist in the organization.

Travel/Shift Requirements:
  • Travel up to 50% of the time

Physical Requirements:
  • Office work is sedentary that requires the following physical activities:
  • Sitting or standing for long periods, walking, finger dexterity, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing, and visual acuity including close vision
  • Occasional lifting (computer equipment, office supplies, etc.)
  • May be required occasionally to stoop or kneel

Education and Experience Required:
  • High school diploma, Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of sales and/or business development experience
  • Wireless telecommunications sales experience
