Director of Training At Firehouse Subs, we are passionate about our commitment to and passion for hearty and flavorful food, heartfelt service, and public safety. We are looking for a Director of Training to join our growing Firehouse Subs team to support our mission and proven practices, alongside the executive leadership team by developing and implementing our training system for new and existing team members in 37 restaurants. Training will be virtual and onsite. The ideal candidate will lead Area Managers and General Managers to conduct training and execute quality systems to drive improvement in our restaurants. As our restaurants grow, you will have the opportunity to pioneer this role and help create the training systems that make us successful. Your Impact:

• Delivers training in operational excellence, working through all areas of the Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) to ensure a remarkable customer service, efficiency and speed of service
• Manages and maximizes an in-depth training program and oversees all training being done
• Delegates tasks to AOMs and GMs, and frequently checks in to ensure training is properly completed and documented
• Conducts assessments and evaluations of general managers and team members. Holds the team accountable for their performance and develops them through consistent feedback and coaching
• Demonstrates complete understanding of all FOH and BOH positions. Serves as a subject matter expert to general managers for ongoing hospitality and operational support
• Maintains a work environment that ensures and promotes food & team safety
• Increases overall restaurant results, working cross-functionally with other staff through attending leadership meetings and setting high-level collaborative goals

Background Profile:

• Bachelor\'s Degree or minimum 2 years leadership experience required
• Previous teaching or training experience
