JOB SUMMARY

The Director of Technology Business Management is responsible for providing leadership and direction to team members who collaborate directly with Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) leaders and teams, including MCHS IS, to ensure the IT processes related to the practice of Technology Business Management are developed, matured, implemented and maintained across the enterprise. This individual works closely with the MCHS/IS leaders to provide the financial and asset management, service and business management, vendor management, portfolio management, communication, optimization of IS and aligning MCHS strategies and business imperatives. The Director will collaborate with MCHS IS leadership to assure the IT business management services are reliable and efficient, and align with the MCHS Strategic Plans. This individual will improve, manage and expand the IT Business Management services throughout MCHS IS, collaborating with leaders and staff internal and external to MCHS to ensure effective communication, repeatable processes and shared approaches.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Minimum Required: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business, Health Care, or a related field.

Preferred/Optional: None

EXPERIENCE

Minimum Required: Three years of relevant management experience. Demonstrated organizational skills. Demonstrates strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred/Optional: Five years of relevant experience leading in an IT health care environment. Demonstrated strong working knowledge of lean tools applying principles to daily work and approach to management. Possesses strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated financial management of operating and capital budgets.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.

Preferred/Optional: Professional Asset, Technology Business Management (TBM) Executive, or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certifications.
