Role Summary:

The Digital IT Lead Strategy Principle will play a critical role in leading the Digital transformation of both Cigna and Evernorth technology assets and platforms.

This role will also support the design, delivery and operations of Digital assets/applications for all constituents within the Cigna and Evernorth ecosystem (Customer, Provider, Client, Employee) supporting multiple business lines and stakeholders. Will be responsible for leading, designing and delivering the Digital \xe2\x80\x9cplatform\xe2\x80\x9d including portfolio specific initiatives. This includes both functional and non-functional requirements for a Digital platform end-to-end (architecture, application stack, infrastructure, DevOps, security, operations) as well as leading the modernization effort around all of the technology assets within the Digital ecosystem.

Role will also partner and support Digital Leadership on business initiatives and project/program delivery as well as provide decision making and accountability around key technology points. This includes interfacing with multiple levels of leadership and management across the enterprise, within both the technology and business organizations.

Initial Responsibilities:

Lead for the Environment Simplification initiative for Digital within the Evernorth technology group.

Modernization Lead for Digital assets and technology stack(s).

Support Resiliency initiative (Evernorth Tech Wellness) around delivery and execution.

Partner with CIP on implementing Digital security patterns and practices for applications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree required and advance degree preferred; particularly in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Administration; Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree preferred.

10+ years in Digital Strategy, Development and/or Execution.

8+ years in Public Cloud (AWS Preferred) experience.

Able to develop and articulate a clear digital strategic vision and see through fruition.

Experience in digital transformation and information management projects and programs.

Demonstrated ability to drive organization-wide initiatives.

Develop internal talent and leadership.

Understanding of and experience building business cases for large technical projects.

Charismatic leader with evidence of strong leadership and communication skills at an executive level.

Able to manage and strategically lead a team.

Able to navigate through large, complex organizations.

Able to work cross-functionally and collaborate with key matrix partners.

Ability to conduct root-cause analysis across functions to understand gaps and areas of opportunity.

Required travel time: 50% \xe2\x80\x93 75%, unless based in Santa Monica, CA.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 166,900 - 278,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus and long term incentive plan.
