ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Embraces and assures that department goals are aligned with Alivio Medical Center\xe2\x80\x99s mission, goals and objectives. Marketing/Communications \xc2\xb7 Manage the Alivio brand and story \xc2\xb7 Assist in creation of marketing materials, including a semi-annual donor newsletter, e-newsletter, quarterly employee newsletter and annual report \xc2\xb7 Develop all clinical marketing materials for all depts/programs \xe2\x80\x93 flyers, signage, etc. \xc2\xb7 Maintain the agency\xe2\x80\x99s website including creating and updating all content \xc2\xb7 Manage all Alivio social media channels \xc2\xb7 Ensure adequate inventory of up-to-date collateral materials \xc2\xb7 Cultivate media relationships \xc2\xb7 Prepare and submit press releases to all media \xe2\x80\x93 print, radio, television, online \xc2\xb7 Manage all media interactions \xe2\x80\x93 prepares staff, attends onsite media events \xc2\xb7 Track all media coverage related to Alivio MedicalCenter \xc2\xb7 Develop patient communications \xe2\x80\x93 text messaging, direct mail, etc. \xc2\xb7 Manage graphic designer, printers, photographer and website developer \xc2\xb7 Translate all Alivio marketing \xe2\x80\x93 print, online, media \xc2\xb7 Create and record all Alivio phone system prompts \xc2\xb7 Maintain agency\xe2\x80\x99s electric signage Special Events \xc2\xb7 Work in tandem with the Director of Development to plan and execute all aspects of the agency\xe2\x80\x99s annual benefit; including developing collateral, fulfilling sponsorship benefits; writing the program and run of show; tracking and design of program ad book; coordinating honorees, managing all vendors; coordinating all volunteers; soliciting and organizing silent auction and paddle raise; and all other details inherent in event planning \xc2\xb7 Assist in coordinating the fundraising and marketing efforts of the annual Golf Outing \xc2\xb7 Assist in organizing and coordinating other types of Special Events such as press conferences, symposiums, festival participation Individual Donors/Capital Campaign \xc2\xb7 Assists with direct mail and online donation solicitation \xc2\xb7 Assists in all aspects of implementing a Capital Campaign Donor database \xc2\xb7 Documents all cultivation strategies, conversations, meetings, events, etc. to establish and maintain a \xe2\x80\x9cmoves\xe2\x80\x9d management system \xc2\xb7 Records all contributions and pertinent information \xc2\xb7 Sends acknowledgement letters. \xc2\xb7 Generates donor reports \xc2\xb7 Pulls donor lists Other Administrative Duties \xc2\xb7 Manages development interns as assigned \xc2\xb7 Provides administrative support to Development Department \xc2\xb7 Performs other related duties as assigned This position requires compliance with all of Alivio\xe2\x80\x99s written standards, including its Standards of Conduct, Joint Commission standards, all policies and procedures and Corporate Compliance requirements. Compliance will be considered as part of the regular performance evaluation. KEY INTERRELATIONSHIPS: - Executive Management Team - Finance Department - Program Managers WORKING CONDITIONS: OSHA Category 3 \xe2\x80\x93 Involves no regular exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, and tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues are not a condition of employment. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree - Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, English, Marketing, Communications or related field Experience: Two years experience in fundraising, marketing, communications and/or public relations Special Training: Experience with donor management software preferred Demonstrated Competencies: Self starter who can work in fast paced environment. Excellent organizational, writing and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and computer knowledgeable. Must exhibit independence and self-initiative. Must be personable and outgoing and able to work well with staff, Board of Directors, Donors, patients and other volunteers. Must be able to manage sensitive and confidential information with integrity. Must be able to meet deadlines. Bilingual/Spanish preferred. Job Type: Full-time Benefits:
