Job Description
Primary Purpose Work with business leaders across Mountaire to provide analytical and reporting support to all areas of our business, helping to improve competitive performance and increase profitability. Also lead the development and refinement of analysis/models that assess the financial, operational and market potential of proposed business plans and acquisition opportunities. Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing reports/analysis on market performance, industry and macroeconomic trends, market pricing, poultry supply etc.
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Leverage analytical skills to collect, organize, analyze variances from budgets and Agri Stats and to look for improvement opportunities.
- Build time-series forecasting models to predict optimal operating parameters and levels with the ability to back test assumptions. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in large data sets.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports as needed and prepare reports on findings for VP\'s, Directors and Controllers.
- B.S. in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance or a related field.
- 2 years\' poultry experience preferred.
- Effective communication and computer skills.
- Strong math and spreadsheet skills: Office Excel, Power Point, Access.
